Another great recreational activity in Wisconsin is the Ice Age Trail.
My sister Emily and I have decided that every Thursday is a new day for hiking and discovering more of beautiful Wisconsin’s trail areas. The Ice Age Trail goes on for more than 1,000 miles.. so far we’ve only done a few but there is plenty time for more! The trails are moderately groomed and in the Waupaca area at least, they are all cleaned by volunteers. The Hartman’s Creek segment was relatively clean and clear of debris which made for a beautiful hike. The cool rainy day made it refreshing and all the more beautiful. Although we didn’t see any wildlife besides birds and squirrels that day, we found plenty of deer tracks crossing over the path, until next time!
